Continuing our long-standing tradition of singular dining experience, we now proudly host
The Black Whale Restaurant contingent as Stewards at the City Island Yacht Club. The Black Whale, long-known on
City Island and beyond for providing exacting and consistent standards in dining service, is perfect compliment to the CIYC's one
hundred year history of providing the best in yacht club membership offerings. Whether for elegant fine dining, a casual Full Sail
burger or tasty wrap, or a few cocktails around the Pub bar, our warm and congenial settings have been a favorite for decades.
The Restaurant and Pub opens the first week of April each season, with catering exceptions noted below. In addition to Member events,
seminars, and Wednesday Night Race service, hours till Going into Commission are:
Fridays: 4 to 9 PM
Saturdays: 12 to 10 PM
Sundays: 12 to 6 PM
From Going into Commission till Going out of Commission:
Fridays: 4 to 9 PM
Saturdays: 12 to 10 PM
Sundays: 12 to 9 PM
The City Island Yacht Club is available year-round for your wedding, private party, corporate event, or any special occasion. The
combination of outstanding dining service and our Waterfront Ballroom venue, with spectacular west views of the New York City skyline,
